Head over to Flickr to check out photo albums from recent Piedmont Drift and Swing Set LLC drift events.

The most important things are power, hydro e-brake, more power, crazy angle kit, built motor to handle all the power, all the camber, latest trending body kit and rare 3-piece wheels.

U.S.Drift Pro/Am Round-2 & Swing Set LLC’s Matsuri Matinee all in one place at (almost) the same time.

If you’re from anywhere within or around North Carolina, Piedmont Dragway is a place you should be visiting once every month for what are some of the most fun and chill drift events around.

Style is a choice. Skill is earned. Low Style Heroes Vol. 1 at Shenandoah Speedway had plenty of both.

If drifting had a holy place, Ebisu Circuit could be that place. If it had a holy day, it would be the drift matsuri held there three times a year. My pilgrimage and awakening as a drift photographer would be Ebisu’s 2012 Summer drift matsuri. It was a journey involving half a dozen trains, hitch hiking through rural Japan and randomly connecting with a pair of drifters I had previously, but unknowingly, drifted with halfway around the world.
This will be the transition point between the posts from 2012 and new posts starting in 2017. I had originally started this as a blog for photos taken during my time in Japan. Unfortunately, actually exploring and enjoying Japan took up so much of my time that I put this on the shelf.
When I started this, I had just upgraded from a full-manual 1970’s Canon AT-1 SLR to a DSLR after moving to Japan. Photography was nothing more than a hobby that I never intended to pursue seriously. I was still doing stencil art and illustrations under “Planet TUFO” which explains the watermark on the earlier posts.
Fast forward to 2017, I’m now back in NC after living in Los Angeles for a year and a half and I make my living completely through photography.
