Looking Back: 2012 Summer Drift Matsuri at Ebisu Circuit

If drifting had a holy place, Ebisu Circuit could be that place. If it had a holy day, it would be the drift matsuri held there three times a year. Starting back up in 2017

This will be the transition point between the posts from 2012 and new posts starting in 2017. I had originally started this as a blog for photos taken during my time in Japan. Unfortunately, actually exploring and enjoying Japan took up so much of my time that I put this on the shelf.

When I started this, I had just upgraded from a full-manual 1970’s Canon AT-1 SLR to a DSLR after moving to Japan. Photography was nothing more than a hobby that I never intended to pursue seriously. I was still doing stencil art and illustrations under “Planet TUFO” which explains the watermark on the earlier posts.

Fast forward to 2017, I’m now back in NC after living in Los Angeles for a year and a half and I make my living completely through photography.
